Flinders Street Station
Flinders Street Station is located corner of Flinders and Swanston Street, Melbourne. It is the first railway station in an Australian city, having been completed in 1910 it is a cultural icon of Melbourne. Backing onto the city reach of the Yarra River, the station covers two whole city blocks, extending from Swanston Street to Queen Street. The busiest in the Southern Hemisphere and famous as a meeting spot for local Melburnians, often expressed as “meet you under the clocks”.
