Green Tram Melbourne
The City Circle W class trams are a free and easy way to see the sights of central Melbourne and the Docklands. The heritage W class trams were produced between 1951 and 1955. One hundred and fifty were built in total. The city circle tram route was introduced on April 29th 1994 and runs around the central business district of Melbourne, taking usually 60 minutes to complete the route. The tram service, operated by Yarra Trams, is an experience not to be missed when visiting Melbourne. For more information on trams visit www.yarratrams.com.au/ and whatson.melbourne.vic.gov.au
